Dakar Desert Rally is a high-octane off-road racing game, and it is slated to launch on PS5 and PS4 on 4th October. Publisher Saber Interactive has released a new trailer, introducing two vehicles straight out of the '80s: the DAF Truck Turbo-Twin and Ari Vatanen's Peugeot 405 Turbo 16.
Both vehicles will be available for players who purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game. Featuring cars, trucks, quads, motorcycles and SUVs Dakar Desert Rally looks to bring the excitement of the world's largest rally race to life, across vast open-world environments that utilise a realistic weather system and day/night cycle.

I used to love watching the Dakar rally as a kid, I'll keep my eye on this.
This game is being developed here in Portugal, which is pretty cool! I once met a guy that was level designer on a previous Dakar game! I wish I could work there
After seeing the first trailer I must say this peaked my interest. It looks surprisingly good and I love a good rally game. Might pick this up
Very hopeful here but I will wait for the reviews first. Due to the war I belive the flying Kamaz will be out, but it is a legendary vehicle in the Dakar races.

Huge fan of Snowrunner and since this is by the same devs I'm eagerly anticipating it. Saber know a thing or two about terrain deformation and physics.
Here’s to hoping some racing game devs take notes on how dust trails should look. I’m almost sold on that alone. Seems to be the first game to really get it just right.
